Foundations for Growth: Housing and Economic Development

Housing is a critical driver of economic growth, talent attraction, and community vitality in Louisville. Greater Louisville Inc. invites business, civic, and development leaders to a forward-looking conversation on innovative solutions to ensure the supply of housing can meet demand.

This event will examine how housing development intersects with economic development, workforce needs, and land use policy. Panelists will explore strategies to accelerate speed to market, modernize land development and zoning approaches, and leverage new construction methods, such as modular and off-site manufacturing, to deliver housing at the scale and pace Louisville needs.

Featuring insights from local government, industry, and development leaders, the discussion will highlight practical pathways to unlock housing production, strengthen public-private collaboration, and position housing as a cornerstone of long-term regional competitiveness.
