Waterfront Development Corporation (WDC) oversees the construction, operation and maintenance of Louisville Waterfront Park, located on the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. Once a blighted wasteland of scrap yards and heavy industrial uses, Waterfront Park is now an internationally-acclaimed gathering space that hosts over 2.2 million visitors and 150 events each year. WDC also oversees the Belle of Louisville Riverboats and master planning and construction of Riverview Park.
